Jennifer Stano founded Have Faith Swimwear with husband Alki David in 2010 in Beverly Hills, California, a brand that soon became one of the hottest swim labels to hit the beach. Jennifer began her career as a fitness model at the age of 20. She was also a National Physique Committee (NPC) bikini competitor who was the face of some of the top nutrition supplement brands including MET-Rx, BSN and STS. Her success later transitioned into working with many world-class couture and beauty houses such as Prada, Miu Miu, True Religion and Oil of Olay. Surrounding herself in fashion, Jennifer initially learned the skills of her trade from her grandmother, and later became an accomplished seamstress herself by sewing bikinis to fit her body. “I am greatly influenced by the diverse cultures of the world, and especially the glamorous life and style of poolside elegance,” explains Jennifer. “I believe every woman should be a chameleon, fitting in wherever she goes, whether stylish in St. Tropez, bohemian chic in Greece, or life of the party in Las Vegas.” These cities are also the names of each of her 2012 collections.
